THAILAND TRAVEL NEWS: The dusitD2 Baraquda Pattaya has commenced a daily “sprinter” bus service between Pattaya and its sister hotel in Bangkok, the Dusit Thani, introducing what it claims “is a new level of convenience and comfort to those who are looking for a quick getaway to Pattaya”.

Priced at Bt600 (about $US18.66) each way, the express shuttle service departs the dusitD2 Baraquda Pattaya at 10.15am daily, with the return journey leaving the Dusit Thani Bangkok at 2pm.

With the BTS Sala Daeng and Silom MRT stations just a short stroll from the Bangkok property, the express bus service provides a convenient way to travel from the heart of Bangkok, to the heart of Pattaya, with the journey taking about two hours.

dusitD2 baraquda Pattaya hotel manager, Michael Ganster, said the hotel was providing people purchasing a roundtrip ticket between now and October 31 with a complimentary one-day BTS pass, enabling them to easily transfer to their final destination.

The dusitD2 baraquda Pattaya Dusit Sprinter is available for use by anyone, not only Dusit hotel guests, with tickets available in Pattaya from the dusitD2 baraquda main reception desk, or from the concierge desk at the Bangkok Dusit Thani.
