The first Thailand International Balloon Festival in 2007 attracted 150,000 Thai and foreign spectators. This figure is expected to double when the Thailand International Balloon Festival 2008 takes off for the second time between December 3rd-7th.

This event will showcase a variety of vibrant and colorful balloons from many countries including USA, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Japan and Malaysia. The show will be held in a panoramic hinterland setting which overlooks breathtaking scenery in Nakon Ratchasima in Isan (Northeast Thailand).

Visitors will be entertained by a wide range of activities including: live concerts, a farmer fair, fireworks, wine tasting, a food festival, an equestrian show, marching bands and the special musical balloon performance “Festival of Light & Fire”.
