The small town of Pai, hidden deep in the hills of northern Thailand, is well know as a charming and serene area enveloped by beautiful natural surroundings. This Valentine’s Day the Pai Tourism Club, in association with Pai Municipality and Tourism Authority of Thailand Mae Hong Son Office, will hold a special wedding ceremony and is inviting couples from the world over. “Season of Love at Pai” wedding ceremony is sure to provide an unforgotten memorial of love in an idyllic setting for participating couples. The event will be held on February 13-15, 2010 at Pai, Mae Hong Son and is aimed to promote Pai as a romantic destination.
Season of Love at Pai will combine the wonder of Buddhist ritual with the unique traditional experience of northern Thailand. Brides and grooms will parade through the city and many bridal couples will be adorned in one ethnic group of Northern Thailand, Thai-Tai wedding outfits. Participants will be able to join in the many activities offered including: elephant riding and bamboo rafting.
The ceremony will be held in a Garden of Eden setting surrounded by nature and the romantic atmosphere that is unique to this small town. The evening will bring a special reception party with live music on the banks of Pai River, ending this romantic day with the rhythm of love underneath the stars.
The wedding packages start at just 10,000 Baht per couple, including 3 days 2 night accommodation at a beautiful resort in Pai, costumes, complementary make up artists and hair stylists, extra activities, and transportation.
Loving couples who are interested in renewing vows or getting married in Pai on Valentine’s Day can register up until February 10, 2010.
