Asia’s biggest and most popular sailing event, the Phuket King’s Cup Regatta, is a week long event of great parties, great sailing and lots of fun.

Initiated in 1987 to celebrate the 60th birthday of His Majesty King Bhumibol, the Phuket King’s Cup Regatta has been held every year since during the first week of December.

In December 2006 it was awarded “Yachting Event of the Year” by Christofle Asia Boating Awards – for a second year in a row.
