The 10th lunar month is believed by Thai Buddhists to be particularly auspicious with good deeds performed during the month profiting the deceased relatives of the merit maker.
The merit making ceremony in Nakhon Si Thammarat’s is particularly large and with highlights including a spectacular procession on September 28 and a night temple fair with numerous products on sale and a range of entertainment to enjoy.
