The annual celebrations to mark the birthday of HM Queen Sirikit will be held nationwide on August 12 and observed as a national holiday. An alms-giving ceremony in the morning will be followed by a huge festival of music and culture at Sanam Luang in Bangkok to celebrate Her Majesty the Queen’s birthday.
