THAILAND TRAVEL NEWS: Award winning Andara Resort and Villas in Phuket has joined Preferred Boutique, a collection of select luxury properties worldwide and part of the “by invitation only” Preferred Hotel Group.
Founded in 1968, Preferred Boutique embraces a philosophy of celebrating the distinctiveness of its member properties, while uniting them through exceptional quality standards and personal service.
Andrew Whittaker, general manager of Andara Resort and Villas, said, “as a new independent luxury property it is important we are aligned with the right brand for our positioning and global exposure. Preferred Boutique is the perfect partner for us to launch the brand, and to establish a high profile clientele.”
Perched atop a lush hillside of the upscale west coast of Phuket’s Kamala Bay, Andara offers 26 free-standing three to six bedroom villas ranging in size from 1,200 to 2,500sq.m, in addition to 37 one to four bedroom suites ranging from 240 to 890sq.m, all providing panoramic views of the Andaman Sea.
In addition to alfresco dining areas, personal chefs, 24-hour a day live-in attendants and infinity pools, the resort also features tennis courts, a modern gymnasium, a spa (with Andara’s own exclusive product line), a beach club, and two customised motor yachts.
The property recently took out four awards at the 2009 Thailand Property Awards: Best Villa in Phuket, Best Villa in Thailand, Best Condo in Phuket, and Best Architectural Design, a further testament to its high level of finish.
Rates at Andara Resort and Villas in Phuket start at $US710 (plus 17% taxes and charges) per night for a one bedroom terrace suite and until March 31 guests can obtain one bonus night for every paid for night at the resort.
