Laguna Phuket International Marathon

The forth annual Laguna Phuket International Marathon, also dubbed ‘Run Paradise!’, will take place along the scenic coastlines of Phuket Island, starting at the resort complex on 14th June at 5.00 am. The Marathon will feature races of many categories, including Marathon, Half Marathon, 10.5 Km Run, 5 Km Walk and 2 Km Kids Run. The race course will run along the spectacular beaches, into tropical rainforests and onto roads that wind through beautiful rubber orchards and pineapple fields.

On 12th June at the J-Junction (close to Laguna Beach Resort), all participants are required to go to the Expo any time during at 10.00 am – 7.00 pm to pick up the race kits. Last minute registration will be accepted at the Expo as well. On sale are official event merchandises and the tickets to the Pasta Party and Farewell Party.

Participants will be officially welcomed at the Pasta Party, which will be held on 13th June from 5.30 – 8.30 in the Similan Ballroom at Laguna Beach Resort. This will give them a chance to meet their fellow runners and be by a 5-star buffet catered by the Laguna Beach Resort. After the race is over, all competitors are invited to join the Farewell party to talk to their fellows, enjoy Thai food and bid goodbye to other runners.

The organizers expect to see more than 1500 runners from 43 countries with more than 6000 participants this year. The top three winners of every age group and the overall winners will be awarded with trophies. All runners who finish the race will receive a commemorative medal.
