Superb villa experienceWe really enjoyed our stay at Green Gecko: a traditionally styled Thai villa with a private pool in the middle of the rice paddies and plantations of the Northeast. OooAmari RincomeooOMy first impression of the Amari Rincome was a very pleasant surprise. The room we had was bright, clean and serene with a balcony overlooking the smaller pool,garden and restaurant. Breakfast was included and the balcony of the breakfast area overlooked the large pool and gardens. The staff were very friendly and helpful from the domestic staff up and to be honest, we couldn't fault it. Thai massages can be booked through the hotel to have in your room and although this is more expensive than going to a salon, it was certainly worth it. If you felt like eating in, there was plenty of variety in the meals. We used the laundry service and it was a bit highly priced but as I always find, the convenience is worth it to me. The hotel may be a little way from the city centre but on the same road as the front of the Amari (walk to the lights and turn right) is a large shopping complex and a wonderful night market is a short walk away. We found it ideally situated and have every desire to return.
